Meet The Editor

Martha-Grace, VouchersX Deals Editor

The editor behind every store page and seasonal guide on VouchersX — and the expiry date on every listing.

Who Martha-Grace Is

Martha-Grace is the Deals Editor at VouchersX. She is responsible for the store pages and seasonal saving guides published on the site — and for the standard every one of them has to meet: every code checked against the retailer's own pages, every listing carrying a recorded expiry date, and every ended offer marked as ended rather than quietly re-dated.

If a VouchersX code worked for you, it worked because it was checked before it was listed — and checked again before the next shopping season.

What Martha-Grace Edits

Martha-Grace edits the seasonal guides and the store pages across the current catalogue — fashion and beauty, home and furniture, appliances and toys.

The headline guides:

Harvey Mathew, also a VouchersX Deals Editor, looks after the tech and e-ride pages — mini PCs, e-bikes and scooters — including the Beelink mini-PC guide.

How Martha-Grace Works

The method is deliberately simple, and it runs the same way for a 20%-off fashion code as it does for a £200-off appliance deal.

Every offer starts at the retailer. Nothing is listed from another voucher site. A code that only exists on aggregator pages is not a code, and it never makes it onto a VouchersX page.

Expiry dates are recorded, not guessed. When a retailer states an end date, that date goes on the listing. When no end date is stated, the listing says so — the reader is never left to assume.

Terms are checked as carefully as the code. Minimum spend, new-customer rules, excluded ranges — the conditions that decide whether a code works at the checkout are part of the listing, not fine print.

Links are opened before they ship. Every merchant link on a VouchersX page is opened and verified to land on the right page before the page is published.

Pages are refreshed to the retail calendar. Black Week, the January sales and the mid-season events each trigger a full re-check of the pages they affect. The Black Friday guide, for example, is refreshed at every milestone of the November calendar as retailer announcements land.

Ended means ended. When an offer finishes, it is marked "Expired" with the date it ended. It is not re-dated, re-listed, or quietly kept in place to make a page look fuller. A page that never admits an offer has ended is a page you cannot trust on the ones that are live.

The Standards Every Page Must Pass

  • No invented offers. If it does not exist at the retailer, it does not exist here.
  • No manufactured urgency. If a code ends Friday, the listing says Friday. If it runs all year, the listing says that too.
  • Predictions are labelled as predictions. Where deal-site forecasts are referenced — expected Black Friday discount depths, for example — they are attributed as forecasts, never passed off as retailer announcements.
  • Expired stays visible, marked with its date, until a live offer replaces it.

PROCESS STEPS

Steps Title:
How Every Deal on VouchersX Is Verified

Step 1 — Pull the live listing. Every offer is taken from the retailer's own site or stated listing, never from another voucher site.

Step 2 — Confirm it is public. Member-only, email-gated and login-walled offers are not listed as general codes.

Step 3 — Record the expiry date. The date the retailer states goes on the listing, so the reader always sees how long an offer has left.

Step 4 — Note the terms. Minimum spend, new-customer rules and excluded ranges are captured with the code — the checks that decide whether it works at the checkout.

Step 5 — Open the destination. The merchant link is opened and verified to land on the correct page before the listing ships.

Step 6 — Re-check at the milestones. Black Week, the January sales and the mid-season events each trigger a full refresh of the pages they affect.

Step 7 — Mark the endings. Ended offers become "Expired" with their date — never re-dated, never re-listed as new.

FAQS

Who is Martha-Grace?
Martha-Grace is the VouchersX Deals Editor. She edits the store pages and seasonal guides, checks every code against the retailer's own site, records the expiry date on every listing, and marks ended offers as ended rather than re-dating them.

How does VouchersX verify discount codes?
Every code is taken from the retailer's own listing and checked that it is live and public. Its terms — minimum spend, new-customer rules, exclusions — are noted, its stated expiry date is recorded, and the merchant link is opened and verified before the page is published.

How often are store pages checked?
Every page is re-checked at the retail-calendar milestones that affect it — Black Week, the January sales and the mid-season events. The Black Friday guide is refreshed at every milestone of the November calendar as retailer announcements land.

What happens when a code expires?
It is marked "Expired" with the date it ended. It is never re-dated to look fresh, and never quietly re-listed as a new offer.

Why do store pages still show recently expired offers?
Because it is useful evidence. Seeing what a retailer has just run — the code, the percentage, the date it ended — is often the best guide to what its next sale will look like.

How is VouchersX different from other voucher sites?
Dated listings. Every offer carries its expiry date, ended offers are marked rather than deleted, and nothing is listed that does not exist at the retailer. The page tells you what ran, when, and what still works now.

A code didn't work — what should I do?
Check the terms first: minimum spend, new-customer rules and excluded ranges are the usual reasons a valid code is refused. If it still fails, the code has most likely ended early — the page is refreshed at the next calendar milestone and ended codes are marked expired.
